A Crow for a Woodchuck
I recently had the problem of a woodchuck burrowing under the concrete slab that is my patio in my backyard. Thanks to Mark Romano, an officianado of these things, the animal has relocated.
All I wanted was the problem solved, but Mark taught me all about the small animals -- and some not so small --that lurk in even the smallest of midwest yards.
In exchange for the education and solution, Mark wanted a crow on a plate. He admires them above all other things in nature. (While up at Mayo, I did learn that Crows can recognize humans by face--expression--NYTimes.) Here is Mark's Crow. I selected the 'Fish Crow' as it is a bit less stocky than others in the family.

Romantic evenings...
I am a very romantic person at heart, and we entertain circumstances accordingly.
We open anytime for couples on their way to dinner, who wish to enjoy a glass of wine while painting something reminiscent of their evening. We provide the music, candlelight and ambiance for the perfect setting before dinner --with a beautiful piece they will treasure forever as a result.
Geneva Goes Green
On September 14th, water barrels will be auctioned off at the Paper Merchant in Geneva.
Proceeds go to environmental charity.
This is our faux finished, hand painted contribution...
Stay tuned for the photos of the results!
Sorry everyone!
The rain barrel auction was rained out! Believe it or not.
So, next Sunday, September 21st @2:00 p.m. @ The Paper Merchant is the 'rain date'.
